Nicole Fyfe
Born and raised in the small town of Blenheim, New Zealand, Nicole Fyfe blends influences from country, folk, acoustic, pop, and indie into her distinctive writing style. Known for writing songs that tell personal stories and capture moments and feelings, Nicole’s music resonates with a depth and authenticity that sets her apart.
Nicole's musical journey began early, starting with songwriting at the tender age of 5. By the age of 13, she was honing her skill and placed second in a local version of "Stars in Their Eyes" as Taylor Swift. These early success ignited a lifelong passion for music, leading her to refine her live performance skills and deepen her songwriting craft.
In recent years, Nicole has been actively performing around Wellington, captivating audiences at various open mic nights and local events. Notable highlights include her performances at Poquito’s Singer-Songwriter evenings, where she has been celebrated for her heartfelt and compelling performances and the 2024 New Zealand Artshow, where her presence and musicality contributed to the event's vibrant atmosphere.
2024 also saw the release of Nicole's first EP which marks a significant milestone in her dream to share her music with a broader audience. Nicole is now focused on promoting her EP and preparing for future live performances. She also continues to write new music, and collaborate with new exciting songwriters, with plans to release an acoustic album in the coming years.
